Boring Closet Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Shipping:
1.1. Domestic Orders (India):
- Free Shipping: Boring Closet offers free standard shipping on all orders within India. You will not be charged any additional shipping fees.
- Estimated Delivery Time: Most orders are delivered within 3-5 business days of receiving your order. We strive to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently.
- Shipping Carriers: We use reputable and reliable shipping carriers, such as DTDC, Delhivery, and FedEx, to deliver your orders. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. This allows you to track the progress of your package and receive updates on its estimated delivery time.
- Delivery Address: We ship to all valid addresses within India. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete at checkout. This includes entering the correct street address, apartment number, city, state, and pin code.
- Order Tracking: You can track your order status and view estimated delivery times through your account on the Boring Closet website or by clicking on the tracking link provided in your shipment confirmation email. This provides transparency and allows you to stay informed about your order’s progress.
1.2. International Orders:
- Flat Rate Shipping: A flat rate of INR 4,000 will be charged for all international orders, regardless of the order value or number of items. This flat rate simplifies shipping costs and provides transparency for international customers.
- Estimated Delivery Time: International orders may take 7-14 business days to arrive, depending on the destination country and customs clearance procedures. We will keep you informed about your order’s progress and estimated delivery timeframe.
- Customs and Duties: You are responsible for any customs and import duties that may be assessed by your local customs office. These charges are separate from the shipping fees and are not included in the order total. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your country’s customs regulations and potential import duties before placing an international order.
- Delivery Address: Please provide a valid international shipping address at checkout. This includes ensuring the accuracy of the recipient’s name, address, city, province/state, postal code, and country.
- Order Tracking: We will provide you with a tracking number via email once your international order has shipped. You can use this tracking number on the shipping carrier’s website to track the status of your order and its estimated delivery time. This allows you to stay informed about your package’s journey and prepare for its arrival.
2. Returns:
2.1. Return Eligibility:
- You may return most items purchased from Boring Closet within 15 days of receiving your order, subject to specific conditions:
- Original Condition: The item(s) must be in original condition, with all tags attached and unworn. This means the item(s) must be free from any damages, stains, or alterations.
- Original Packaging: The item(s) must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes, dust bags, and protective materials.
- Packing Slip or Invoice: You must include a copy of your packing slip or invoice with your return. This helps us identify your order and process your return efficiently.
2.2. Return Process:
- To initiate a return, please visit your account on the Boring Closet website and navigate to the “My Orders” section. Locate the order you wish to return and click on the “Return” button. This will guide you through the return process.
- You will be prompted to select the item(s) you wish to return and provide a reason for your return. This information is helpful for us to improve our products and services.
- Once your request is submitted, you will receive a return authorization email with instructions on how to return your items. This email will include the return address, packing instructions, and any necessary return labels.
- Please pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging, including a copy of your return authorization email.
- Ship your return package to the address provided on your return authorization email. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your return package, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
2.3. Return Shipping Costs:
- For domestic orders (India), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable and reliable shipping method to ensure the safe arrival of your returned items.
- International return shipping costs are also the responsibility of the customer. Please consider these costs before initiating a return for an international order.
2.4. Return Processing:
- Once we receive your return package, it will be processed within 5-7 business days. We will inspect the returned item(s) to ensure they meet the return eligibility criteria outlined above.
- If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 3-5 business days. You will receive a notification email confirming the refund amount and processing time.
- If your return does not meet the eligibility criteria, you will be notified via email. You will have the option to have the item(s) shipped back to you at your expense or returned to us for store credit.
2.5. Return Exceptions:
- Please note that certain items are not eligible for return or exchange, including:
- Final Sale Items: Items labeled as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged. Please carefully review the product description before making a purchase.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or store credit.
- Underwear and Swimwear: For hygiene reasons, underwear and swimwear cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Personalized Items: Items personalized with your name, initials, or other custom details cannot be returned or exchanged.

2.6. Return Fraud:
Boring Closet reserves the right to refuse any return that is deemed fraudulent or in violation of our return policy. This includes, but is not limited to, items that are returned worn, damaged, or altered; items that are not returned in the original packaging; or items that are returned with missing documentation.
3. Exchanges:
3.1. Exchange Eligibility:
- You may exchange most items purchased from Boring Closet for a different size or color, subject to availability. The exchange request must be submitted within 15 days of receiving your order.
- Please note that all exchange eligibility requirements outlined in the “Return Eligibility” section above apply to exchanges as well.
3.2. Exchange Process:
- To initiate an exchange, please follow the same steps outlined in the “Return Process” section above.
- During the return process, you will be prompted to select the item(s) you wish to exchange and choose the new size or color you desire.
- Once your exchange request is submitted, we will review it and confirm if the desired item is available in stock. If the item is available, we will process your exchange and ship the new item to you within 3-5 business days.
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping for the original item. If the new item is more expensive than the original item, you will be responsible for paying the difference in price. If the new item is less expensive than the original item, we will issue a refund for the difference.
3.3. Exchange Exceptions:
- The same exceptions outlined in the “Return Exceptions” section above apply to exchanges.

In addition to the above, Boring Closet reserves the right to approve or decline any return or exchange at its sole discretion.
